Impact100 was founded by Wendy Steele in 2001 in response to feeling as though women’s roles in philanthropy needed a new way to be expanded and encouraged. Wendy launched the organization with the goal of empowering women to see themselves as activists through utilizing large grants to make an impact within their communities.
This year, the REACH food program has been voted as a winner for one of two grants given. This grant will help build the next phase of the program which will positively change the communities within Southern Indiana.

We are humbled and honored to be selected as a winner and are grateful to be able to continue feeding our own community kids.
Every year, the Gulfport Merchants Chamber (GMC) awards three organizations a Gecko World Grant. This year REACH was one of the three selected.
GMC believes in giving back to the local community and organizations selected must be nonprofits in the City of Gulfport, or work with programs benefiting the Gulfport community in addition to being included under Section 501(c)(3), (4), (6) or (19) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Part of Gecko World includes the Gecko Fest, Gecko Ball, and Gecko Crawl. Later, each organizations will receive the Gecko World Grant at a recognition event in December, according to a press release from the GMC.
A special thanks for the nomination and to the
GMC Commerce for choosing us!
It's amazing to see how the REACH of this program continues to expand.
The NEED is real, the KIDS are real, the PASSION and the COMMITMENT of every single person involved is REAL!!!
We are so humbled and honored to be able to feed those that otherwise would go hungry. A special thank you goes out to everyone involved (Donors, Suppliers, Volunteers and More)!
The easiest & fastest way to help us is to continue spreading the news!
We were nominated by Denise Sears, CEO of SOS (Supplies Over Seas), for the Kosair for Kids 2023 Grant. After months of meetings, interviews, and reviews, we were chosen for this grant!!
With this grant, and help from Bachman Auto Group & Falls City Signs, we were able to secure this amazing vehicle! This vehicle will help the REACH! food program be more visible in the community; allow us to deliver food more efficiently; and allow us to receive bigger donations.
A special thanks to Denise Sears, Kosair Charities, Bachman Auto Group, and Falls City Signs, for believing in us and helping us with our mission to feed more children.
